Yes, timber flooring can be installed over a concrete slab once the slab is tested and prepared. We test it for moisture, level it where needed and lay a moisture barrier if required. Then the floor is either glued straight to the slab (direct-stick) or floated over underlay, depending on the board and the building rules.

We’ll tell you before any work starts. Levelling and moisture issues are part of our standard preparation and are included in the quote. Structural issues with joists or bearers are flagged in writing and quoted separately, so the owner can approve them first.*

Yes, removal is part of the job. We take up the old carpet or timber, dispose of it and refit or replace the skirting boards, all under the same quote.
